Field note · Minnesota stocks by year, not by truck day: walleye fry go in within weeks of ice-out, fingerlings and yearlings mostly in fall, and stream trout in spring and fall. A row here means the fish went in during that year; DNR adds the year's rows after the fact, so the current year can look empty until winter.

Catch per net (CPUE) is the DNR survey's count per gill net or trap net set; higher means more of that species were sampled, not a fishing forecast. Top species per gear shown; where we have no verified common name for a DNR code, the code itself is shown.

Nighttime electrofishing for YOY Walleye was completed on 6 October 2025. Three hundred and thirty-seven age-0 Walleyes were sampled during 90 minutes of electrofishing for a catch rate of 224.1/hour on-time. Age-0 Walleye averaged 7.9 inches and ranged from 5.9 inches to 10.8 inches. The mean catch rate since 1997 during fry stocked years (n=13) was 193.7/per hour on-time while non-stocked years (n=6) have averaged 12.5/hour on-time.
