Northern pike abundance is above the third quartile range for lake class 8 but within the historic netting range. Northern pike growth is below area medians with the sample age distribution primarily ages II and III. Bullhead (all species) abundance is also above the third quartile range for this lake class. While their abundance has increased from the first survey, their numbers are stabilizing. All other species' abundances and growth rates are within lake class and area medians respectively. Walleye were not sampled in this survey. Their historic presence is probably due to migration from either Moosehorn River or Sand Lake.
