Field note · Minnesota stocks by year, not by truck day: walleye fry go in within weeks of ice-out, fingerlings and yearlings mostly in fall, and stream trout in spring and fall. A row here means the fish went in during that year; DNR adds the year's rows after the fact, so the current year can look empty until winter.

Catch per net (CPUE) is the DNR survey's count per gill net or trap net set; higher means more of that species were sampled, not a fishing forecast. Top species per gear shown; where we have no verified common name for a DNR code, the code itself is shown.

East Moore Lake is a heavily vegetated 28-acre, class 40 lake located at Highway 65 and Interstate 694 in Fridley. Moore Lake Park (City of Fridley) borders approximately half of the shoreline and provides numerous amenities including a swimming beach, playground, picnic area, walking path, and fishing piers. The sport fish community consists of Bluegill, Pumpkinseed Sunfish, Black Crappie and Northern Pike. East Moore is aerated year round. Sportfish populations were present in varying abundance. Trap netted Northern Pike average size was 17.5 inches with a range of 10.4 to 26.4 inches. Panfish numbers were within normal ranges when compared to other similar lakes in Minnesota. Of the trap net caught Bluegills, 2% of fish sampled were longer than 6.5 inches. Other fish observed during this survey were Black and Yellow Bullheads in below average abundances.
