Catch per net (CPUE) is the DNR survey's count per gill net or trap net set; higher means more of that species were sampled, not a fishing forecast. Top species per gear shown; where we have no verified common name for a DNR code, the code itself is shown.
THE LAKE HAS NOT BEEN SURVEYED FOR QUITE A NUMBER OF YEARS. HOWEVER, NORTHERN PIKE HAVE EXHIBITED A HIGH RECRUITMENT OVER THE YEARS AND NOW HAVE DOMI NATED THE POPULATION. THE OTHER SPECIES, YEP, BLC , BLG, ARE TYPICAL OF THIS LAKE CLASSIFICATION AND ARE PRESENT IN NUMBERS SIMILAR TO WHAT WAS OBSERV ED DURING THE LAST SURVEY. THE WALLEYE FOUND PRES ENT IN THE LAKE WERE MOST LIKELY INTRODUCED BY LOC AL RESIDENTS.
