Catch per net (CPUE) is the DNR survey's count per gill net or trap net set; higher means more of that species were sampled, not a fishing forecast. Top species per gear shown; where we have no verified common name for a DNR code, the code itself is shown.

Walleye abundance of 1.2 per gillnet lift was below average compared to other Minnesota lakes of similar type. Mean length of seven sampled walleye was 23.3 inches. Growth was slow with length at age four of 13.6 inches. Six of seven aged walleye were older than age eight. Bluegill abundance of 12.0 per trapnet lift was average compared to other Minnesota lakes of similar type. Mean length was 6.3 inches. Growth was slow with length at age four of 3.4 inches. Age analysis revealed strong 1995 and 1998 year-classes and all year-classes from 1993 through 1998 represented. Black crappie abundance of 0.6 per trapnet lift was below average compared to other Minnesota lakes of similar type. Mean length was 8.1 inches. Growth was average with length at age four of 7.1 inches. Age analysis revealed a strong 1999 year-class and four year-classes represented from 1994 through 2001.
