Catch per net (CPUE) is the DNR survey's count per gill net or trap net set; higher means more of that species were sampled, not a fishing forecast. Top species per gear shown; where we have no verified common name for a DNR code, the code itself is shown.
All comparisons of the fish population are based on Schupp's ecological lake classification #20. The northern pike population is just above the median and the fish are large. The pumpkinseed and bluegill populations are high, both above the third quartile. Largemouth bass CPUE is higher than the third quartile as are the yellow perch. The walleye catch is below the first quartile and the black crappie trap net catch was higher than the third quartile.
