Catch per net (CPUE) is the DNR survey's count per gill net or trap net set; higher means more of that species were sampled, not a fishing forecast. Top species per gear shown; where we have no verified common name for a DNR code, the code itself is shown.
Northern Pike and White Suckers were present in numbers near the local median. Black and Yellow Bullhead, Black Crappie, and Bluegill numbers are 4 to 6 times higher than their respective local medians. Yellow Perch numbers were below the local median. Largemouth Bass were present. Common Carp were not sampled though one large carcass was observed. Age classes represented as follows; Northern Pike, 4 through 7; Bluegill, 2 through 7; Largemouth Bass 2, 5, and 6; Black Crappie 2 through 5. Growth rates are average for Northern Pike, below average for bass, and slow for panfish.
