Catch per net (CPUE) is the DNR survey's count per gill net or trap net set; higher means more of that species were sampled, not a fishing forecast. Top species per gear shown; where we have no verified common name for a DNR code, the code itself is shown.

THE YELLOW PERCH IS THE MOST ABUNDANT GAME FISH SPECIES IN THIS LAKE AND ARE OF ACCEPTABLE SIZE FOR MOST ANGLERS. THE LARGE SIZE OF CAPTURED PERCH INDICATE THE LAKE HASN'T HAD A SEVERE WINTERKILL IN THE PAST 3 TO 4 YEARS. BULLHEADS AND WHITE SUCKERS ARE ALSO PRESENT IN FAIR ABUNDANCE. FATHEADS, GOLDEN SHINERS, BLACKNOSE DACE, AND FINESCALE DACE ARE VERY ABUNDANT IN THE LAKE AS INDICATED BY SHORELINE SEINING AND VISUAL OBSER- VATIONS. THE SPECIES PRESENT IN THIS LAKE INDICATE THAT FREQUENT WINTERKILLS DO OCCUR.
