A survey of water quality was conducted on 3/5/2026 to gauge the likelihood of a winterkill occurring on Thirty-One Lake. Winter dissolved oxygen levels were likely tolerable based on this survey with 6.6 ppm below the ice, 1.4 ppm at 12 feet, and 0.8 ppm near the bottom. Therefore, it seems unlikely for any significant winterkill to occur in spring 2026.
